Question asked by Emma from Australia:
Question: My friend has a new iPod Nano, but do you know which iTrip it will work with?
Answer: Hi Emma. According to the Griffin Technology: iTrip page, it works with, well, all iPods from the 3G to the latest ones (excluding some iPods, ie. iPod Shuffle, etc.). Enjoy the new iTrip!

Question sent in from Walt K by email:
Question: I have a iMac and I also have a PC which has a brand new
huge hard drive. I want to be able to network the PC to the iMac so
that I can use the hard drive on the PC as a backup hard drive or
just storage for iTunes and photos.

Any one have some suggestions?
A. If you have a router:
1) Activate Windows’ Sharing option on the PC drive - right click on the drive, choose “Sharing and Security”, activate sharing and enable other users to modify the content of the folder.
2) Connect from the iMac to the PC - using the Finder built-in Network tab, or using Go->Connect to Server… and entering smb://[the-PC-IP]
3) Choose the drive being shared. You might need to provide a password for mounting the share (the login password for the sharing PC account).
4) The drive will mount on the mac. Just use it as any other drive.
or best, check this out (I saw this only after I finished writing all this…):

Question 1. Hey, in regards to the files on the web, how are they are de-compressed in multiple files? How do u do that on a mac? Thanks! chriswong11
Answer: If you mean multiple .zip files, that can be done with applications like BetterZip (http://www.betterzip.com/) and Split & Concat (click here to download), which has become a widely known source for compression needs. There’s also Compress Files, a great utility like BetterZip, which we would recommend Googling.
Question 2. Please forgive my ignorance, but I often see things like “I’ve uploaded this software to my FTP”. What is one of these, and how do I access an ‘FTP’? iexpectu2die
Answer: A person doesn’t ‘have’ an FTP, rather it is a method of transferring things back and forth on the internet.
You can transfer files, and whatever using FTP. If you have a web server, you can access stored information and files from a remote location. Basically that’s what you’re doing - getting stuff from another computer.
Try an internet search for “FTP” and then download software, and you will understand better. We recommend getting a copy of Fetch 5.2.1 at http://fetchsoftworks.com/.
