Just an iMac Thought

Lately I’ve been thinking, and thinking, and thinking, all about problems with Apple products. I know (sadly), that they’re not all perfect, but I’ve really been trying to pinpoint the faults that make me angry - :@. And I think I’ve figured out what annoys me the most.

ONLY 3 USB PORTS!

I cannot take it. I’ll get out my iPod and the USB cord, ready to plug it in and update. I reach behind the iMac and feel around for the spare USB port, and then BAM! None there. But then as soon as I take something out from the back, (whether it be the Eye TV USB, external hard drive, or maybe even the cord I’m using to charge my PSP), I need to plug that back in to be functioning in my normal MacUser mode.

And trust me, I have plenty of USB Hubs but in the end (resulting in then only 2 USB 2.0 ports), unless I go out an spend $50 on a USB 2.0 Hub, I’m stuck with the 3 built in.

The Thought: Wouldn’t it be great if Apple made the default amount of USB ports on the iMac about 5? -I think so.

OddSpot: God and Macs

According to a recent investigation put forward by the Silicon Valley Times, God may be using a Macintosh computer.
The newspaper apparently sent under-cover reporters into Apple’s California offices who discovered that there was a package including, count it, two Mac Pros and two 30″ ACDs, and numerous other Apple products, sent out to a man of the name God. The location is officially unknown, but assumed to be somewhere north of Heaven.

Apple ‘Donald Trumps’ 800 Stealing Employees

Steve Jobs firing 800 employeesImage courtesy of Gizmodo.

800, dare I say, ‘retarded’ Apple employees, have just been sacked for trying to cash in on the $100 rebate Apple provided to all iPhone owners after they dropped the price by $200.

Those 800 though, seemed to have forgotten that they received those iPhones FOR FREE. Yes, in America, Apple provided all full-time Apple employees and part-time that had been working for 1 Year +, an Apple iPhone for free. But these employees figured they should get both the free iPhone, and the $100 rebate.

Bad move. Just think about it. Apple have made the very right choice. These 800 employees proved to them, that if the opportunity strikes, and they have a chance to steal, that’s exactly what they will do.

This worked out perfectly for the big Apple Inc., as a couple weeks ago they went on a Hiring Spree making jobs available at most stores due to some recent customer feedback surveys. Hey, while your at it, see if there’s a job available for you, by Clicking Here.

Google - Mac or PC?

logo1.gif

This question has been on my mind for too long now. I can’t figure out, if Google is a Mac, or a PC (Windows more so, to be exact) company. I’m sure that all their computers they have run on either Windows or Linux, or maybe even their own operating system. How do we know they haven’t developed Google OSX? :)
Also, what about their offices? Where their 13,748 full-time employees work. These engineers, developers of some of the greatest ideas of our time, rely on their computers constantly. Maybe they’re using Windows, Linux, OSX, or maybe even another operating system (I’m still edging on the idea of Google OSX :D), the point is, we don’t know.
