Well, I just upgraded my MacBook pro’s hard drive and found out it is not for the faint at heart. The MacBook is so easy you’d think they’d make the Pro the same way. Well they don’t. I decided to write a step-by-step here for our members since I couldn’t find one anywhere out on the web.
Upgrading Info:
The hard drive must be a laptop sized 2.5″ SATA drive. As of the writing of this post, there is only one SATA standard for mobile computers so you’re safe if you’re sure it’s SATA.
My upgrade was a 160gb Hitachi drive.
